Problem

Personal finance tools often stop at transaction lists. Users need accounts, categories, budgets, and imports in one coherent product — without bloated banking integrations or a half-finished dashboard.

Approach

We scoped a clear finance spine: accounts → transactions → categories → budgets → import. Auth, dashboard UX, and data model were production-shaped from day one so the app could grow without a rewrite.
